02/28/2011: Podcast and Scurrilous Preview!

Its been a while since we attempted a podcast, but we finally got it. In the first episode, we talk about Rift, Dead Space 2, and the upcoming metal releases of 2011.

02/19/11: Avery Island Is Updating Daily

Okay, so more dedicated readers (we actually have those now!) will notice the news flashes everyday and more articles then before; we’re getting back to writing more often. So from now on, Avery Island is updating daily save for weekends; that means everyday, we’ll be posting a major news story along with a couple other cool things.
Along with this, we’ll actually have set days that we post full-length articles, be they reviews, editorials, or the other kinds of articles we do. We’re just basically two guys, so you have to give us a break.

02/17/11: Odd Future Kill Fallon

Odd Future are quickly becoming my favorite act around and here is just another reason why. After killing “Sandwitches” for about 2 minutes, Tyler goes nuts and has the whole crowd chanting “WOLF GANG” without even asking. 02/18/11: Radiohead Release New Album A Day Early

Radiohead, currently the coolest band in the universe, prove yet again why they get the acclaim they get. Originally planned to be released on the 19th (or rather tomorrow), they released the digital album today, a day early, along with a music video for the first single “Lotus Flower” featuring a solo Thom Yorke basically doing an interpretive dance.
